The Visual Asset Manager (VAM) is a comprehensive digital asset management system which supports all branded assets – from artwork, promotional and advertising materials to packaging. This secure web based system enables fast, easy indexing, storing and retrieval of both "in­process" and finalized digital assets. A permission­based system with full version control capabilities, the D2L VAM ensures the right users have access to the right information.

Supplier Submission Management (SSM)
D2L´s Supplier Submission Management (SSM) provides a secure and streamlined way for our clients to collect, review and catalog, all the digital assets submitted by outside agencies and suppliers. This secure system interfaces with the Visual Asset Manager (VAM) to provide a secure and branded web interface for client­authorized third parties to upload, tag(metadata) and submit files for review and acceptance.

Routing, Collaboration, Mark­up and Approval
The D2L Routing, Collaboration, Mark­up and Approval system is simple to use, meets FDA 21 CFR part 11 compliance, and, in a nutshell, facilitates the quick and easy adoption of a digital workflow and approval system. Sequential and non­sequential routing, alongside synchronized and non­synchronized collaboration, dramatically increases the speed of review, mark­up and approvals. Fully integrated with D2L´s project tracking system, this module captures and records all actions including annotations, mark­ups and sign­offs, which are then archived as metadata with the specific files as a permanent audit trail.

Color Management and Communication

D2L Soft Proofing

D2L Soft Proofing is based on Kodak MPV, their award winning, industry leading product, users at remote locations, using standard Internet browsers on calibrated monitors, can view streamed, color accurate image files stored in the D2L Visual Asset Manager (VAM). This technology enables end users to view large image files (>500 MB) rapidly by compressing and transmitting only the data needed for onscreen viewing ("pixels on demand"). Provides instant color separation (includes viewing of spot colors, bleeds and traps). Real­time annotations, markups and signoffs are captured and archived as metadata with the specific file.

D2L Hard Proofing

Leveraging the Flexibility of the D2L Color Management solution, D2L´s Hard Proofing module provide clients with a complete system including an advanced RIP which supports spot colors, enabling fast and easy on­site hard proofs. It also organizes and maintains an unlimited number of color profiles that can be utilized to accurately match the color output of supplier proofing systems or printing­press profiles.

File Transfer Manager (FTM)
File Transfer Manager (FTM) provides a fast, secure, cost effective method to distribute large files from one location to another. Fully integrated with D2L´s VAM, this module enables end­users to tag files with metadata that is automatically read and stored in the upload/download process. This secure permission­based product, which includes automatic email alerts, optional auto compression and file transfer resume, eliminates the need to burn disks and send overnight file deliveries.

Graphic Delivery System
This module enables our clients to provide secure links to files stored in the Visual Asset Manager to both registered and non­registered/temporary users (such as outside agencies, printers, packaging firms and corporate offices).

Project Tracking
D2L´s Project Tracking tool lets our clients run customized reports containing detailed project information, including tracking and reporting of in­process files, completed, and pending projects. By working directly with our clients, D2L helps them scope project tracking criteria for easy and useful up to the minute process information in both web based and printable formats.
